To pick whether you will work for Oracles or Frenzyhearts, you must complete the quest to kill Artruis the Heartless in Sholazar Basin. When he is almost dead, you will be given the opportunity to save an Oracle prisoner or a Frenzyheart prisoner. If you want to switch factions later, simply kill Artruis the Heartless again and save the other prisoner.
