Instead the eyeglasses player must craft them with gathered or cheap wow gold Auction House purchased small eggs in order to complete the achievement. In order to capitalize on this requirement and make lots of WoW gold in the process, you need to be prepared ahead of time with a huge inventory of Small Eggs which you can list typically for up to 3 gold each on the Auction House the night before Winter Viel starts. Where Do I Find Small Eggs? The best way to farm these Small Eggs is to spend a few hours each day in the weeks before the holiday starts by killing the mobs that drop them. Best Farming Location for the Alliance Run or fly to Westfall. From the flightmaster, cross the road and you'll be in the center of a northsouth corridor that is teeming with Young Fleshrippers (1011) and Fleshrippers (1214) to the north and Greater Fleshrippers (1617) to the south. These birds all have a 58%64% chance of dropping a Small Egg. By the time you are finished killing the Fleshrippers in one section, new Fleshrippers should be spawning in the opposite direction. Best Farming Location for the Horde Run or fly to EverSong Woods which is a blood elf area just south of Silvermoon City. Throughout the zone you will find Crazed Dragonhawks (28) and Feral Dragonhawk Hatchlings (16). Both of these birds have a 99%100% change to drop a Small Egg. Gold Tip #2: Sell Preserved Holly Preserved Holly is a highly sought after novelty item that turns any mount into a reindeer. The catch is that it is only available via quests during Winter's Veil and of course from the Auction House for a price! Preserved Holly can be obtained in three ways: Inside a Ticking Present This is found in a box found under the tree near Greatfather Winter in either Ironforge or Ogrimmar. You can only loot this box from December 25 until the end of Winter's Veil. Complete the Metzen the Reindeer quest Rescue Metzen the Reindeer who's being held captive both in Searing Gorge and in Tanaris. You'll receive 5 Preserved Holly as a reward. Complete the Hero of the Day quest This quest has two prerequisites and can only be completed once. First you'll need to have completed the Metzen the Reindeer quest. Second, you'll need to be have a Cooking skill of at least 300. Bring 1 Deeprock Salt and 5 gold coins to the goblin NPC found in the Winter Veil areas of both Ironforge and Ogrimmar and you'll receive 5 Preserved Holly as a reward. How Much Can I Sell Preserved Holly For? You can easily sell each Preserved Holly in the Auction House for up to 6 gold. As is the case with any commodity, scarcity determines what players will pay for it. Therefore it's best to hold on to your Preserved Holly for a few months after the end of Winter's Veil, then start listing it for sale on the Auction House for big profits. Gold Tip #3: Sell Deeprock Salt Since Deeprock Salt is one of the ingredients that players need to complete the Hero of the Day quest, you can purchase it for next to nothing before Winter's Veil and then turn around and sell it anywhere from 110 gold on the Auction House.
