If you're a fast gatherer, you can amass ore or flowers in value of up to 3400g per hour, depending on the server and price. But the best place for farming gold in WoW is the Auction House. You don't need an epic mount, special equipment or a lot of time on your hands to get some nice profits at AH. You can even do this with a level 1 character. All you need to do is a little research about the supply and demand on your server, to learn what is best to buy and sell for profit. This has a downside though.
